Nothing Changes
But the Scenery
People might leave more crumbs
More trash, balloons,
And on the Beaches, Alka Selzer.
One by one they fall,
Dead Washed away in the tide.
Or playing Dead on big City Streets.
Sick and wasted people sleep.
The Other's, well only a few Hours.
Do you sleep?
I don't know?
Half dead on the pavement?
Just falling so awkward.
Are you one of these sick and wasted people,
Or one of those birds being fed Alka Selzer?
